Data Romance
Shifty Peoples,
Hello! I hope you’re all faring well. I’ve been grinding (for employment, perspective and lung capacity) up here in The Bay Area, taking hikes, reading and listening to some good tunes. Today I’m going to introduce you to a group called Data Romance, inform you of their EP release (which is going down right meow) and chatting about future interviews:
Data Romance is a Canadian duo, Vancouver based, whose monome generated melodies clash beautifully with revealing (sometimes elegiac, always contemplative) lyrics. DR’s electro-pop is weighty, asking the listener to measure the strength it takes to uproot, move and grow.
Their four track self-titled EP is out today, so make sure to grab it on iTunes if you like what you hear. To turn back the clock a half-year, check out their HD music video for ‘Bones’, a one-take light storm that supplements their October 2010 single.

For now: I’m putting this duo on your radar, beep beep.
For Future Reference: make sure to check back later this week. Shifty Rhythms has an exclusive Data Romance interview on lock…
Also, make sure you catch the rest of the Stanley Cup Finals — we’ll be chatting hockey, no doubt, and who likes to be out of the loop?
Cheers,
Cutty Cav
