MVM: Nero – Crush On You

Nero smashes it in their revival of this 80′s classic from The Jets… and just in time for Halloween.

Now this wouldn’t have made Music Video Mondaze if the song was the only reason I liked it. The video takes it to another level, setting us in an environment that places us straight into an 80′s horror film. Everything iss given a perfect vintage touch, from the bright and glowy daytime shots of the kids at the academy, to the low budget horror effects at the monstrous bassdrops. This one’s extremely fun to watch, but still serious enough that instead of laughing at the story the whole time, you actually wanna stand up and go dumb when that screamer bass drops in. Although the video’s ending doesn’t quite live up, as a whole, it is a wonderful execution of the vibe of the song. I’ve been waiting for this one for awhile, in addition to Nero‘s debut full length album, Welcome Reality which you can grab on iTunes.
