MVM: Crookers – Hummus
MVM this week comes from Crookers. The song Hummus is the first single off their new album, Dr. Gonzo, to be given a video treatment. I can’t stop listening to this song, and when the video came out, I was laughing my ass off the entire time. The boys certainly acheived success in making sure their filmic representations of their songs was just as weird as the music itself. I can’t say I understand the purpose behind hummus as the main focus of the song, but then again maybe that’s the point. Either way, the awesome animation from creators, Plastic Horse, makes for an extremely entertaining 4 minutes. There’s always a special place in my heart for animated music videos, and how much work it takes to accomplish tasks like these.
