MVM: Lana Del Rey – Born to Die

Okay, I get the hype. I get it. Lana Del Rey is absolutely gorgeous, with that perfect touch of old world swag, like she was meant to exist in the 60s. She’s also ridiculously talented, and to top it all off, she makes some insanely artistic videos. Is she the female Kanye West? Skin color and music genre aside, as far as a fully formed female artist goes, her commitment to the vision seems to put her on a similar level. Not to mention this video came out about a month ago and has since then stacked up almost 12 MILLION views???? Whoa. Mad props once again to Yoann Lemoine as the video director. If you will remember, he was also the director (and producer) of this Woodkid video, that I did an MVM on awhile back. This is some really high art, and if you know film, you can appreciate the amount of production value behind this.
