GET SHIFTY with LOL BOYS

As Get Shifty evolves aesthetically and continues to serve the people, we have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best up-and-coming talent in the game. It appears that tomorrow, July 7th at The Central SAPC in Santa Monica, marks yet another momentous occasion as we welcome LOL BOYS to take over the headline shift. The BOYS (Jerome Potter & Markus Garcia) have been crafting and releasing some of the best house-informed grooves of the last 15 months, culminating in the release of their latest extended play effort entitled Changes, launching July 17th on Friends of Friends.

Closing out the evening is none other than Bastille, part-time models and all-purpose house aficionados, coming off their main stage debut last month at The Avalon with Simian Mobile Disco and the success of their smash single One Night Love Affair. Supporting these gentlemen are an array of local acts including Shifty kin D. Parra, NOLD, Mazkarate, and yours truly, GOJ!RA, doing the tag team thing with Shifty commander-in-chief, The KiD. Again the party is at The Central in Santa Monica and entry is free before 10 pm, $5 afterwards per usual. Get there early to drink and stay there late to dance.
