MVM: Groove Armada – My Friend
Shifty Nation, I’m back from vacation. If the lack of KiD activity on your social media experience was uncomfortable for you, then I’m sorry… but I’m sure that wasn’t the case. Regardless, I’m back in action with your weekly MVMs once again, and this time I’m taking you back to Groove Armada’s feel good theme from 2001, titled “My Friend”. Thematically, this song is really resonating with me right now, coming off an amazingly relaxing vacation and having to get back into my real world mentality. Everything from the vocals, to the percussion, to the synths is so on point in this track. This is a great summer tune, and a more than appropriate video accompanies it.
