GET SHIFTY (08/11) with KILLER CAM & SLEEPYHEAD

It’s that time of the month to get weird again. Get Shifty returns to The Central SAPC tomorrow night with a special Summer Olympics edition slamfest (unfortunately Gabby Douglas will not be tearing it up on the decks, sorry creeps). Instead we got a freak faction of DJ adonises well-conditioned for the night shift, including team captain Killer Cam, who recently embarrassed Ryan Lochte in the 200m fist-pump. Cam is one of LA’s most well-respected party machines and likely the reason why you decided to buy a pair of Technics back in 2008. In addition to that he’s one of my idols, no Stamos.

Joining him is Brooklyn’s very own special guest Sleepyhead, an accomplished ambassador of after-hours house vibes that we are very honored to have cover the closing shift. In the past year alone he has unleashed his sounds through such well-respected groove vehicles as Symbols, Embassy, and Trouble & Bass. Rounding out the all-American squad is Shifty regular DJ SRSLY, certified sound genius DJ Huot, Shifty pride-and-joy Korova, and the CEO himself, The KiD, playing a very memorable last set under the moniker that started it all. And as always the party is free before 10pm and $5 for those who want to make an entrance. Let’s go for the gold.
