Get Shifty LIVE! 10/6/12 with Fly Guys & Marvel The Gr8

After the resounding success of our first-ever Get Shifty LIVE with Warm Brew in June, we’re bringing back real hip-hop to the people this Saturday, October 6th at The Central SAPC. The headline shift will be delegated to none other than local sensations Fly Guys (Baby), bringing the party stronger than Christopher Reid at a bar mitzvah in the early 90′s. For musical evidence, brace yourself and check out their latest release Great American Sellouts (GAS) via their soundcloud.

Support will be enforced by Shifty power-poet Marvel the Gr8 who got his BA in blowing minds (and a minor in foxology as displayed here). We’re also very thrilled to welcome local heroes Thr33zy McFly, Kev Martin & Dela Doze to participate in the verbal throw down. And as always, we’ll have tunes from the Shifty bullpen as Neo Fresco and NOLD will assert their respective slayage. 21+ and entrance is free before 10pm, $5 after with RSVP.

And contrary to popular belief, indie bands will NOT make her dance.
